Online LARP General NotesDue to the nature of this change (in person to online), the two biggest differences (other than the obvious of having to run this through Discord) are that:
- There will be no theme characters this year. Sorry folks.
- We will have an attendance cap of 40 players.
We apologize for these changes, but with the limited amount of time we have had to be able to get a LARP together and the challenges of running on Discord, this is necessary. Once we return to our normal in-person convention, we'll return to normal LARP running!
Online LARP Character DatabaseHere is a list of every character we have in the database (or darn near every character...) INCLUDING ALL PREVIOUSLY MADE ZENKAIKON EXCLUSIVE CHARACTERS. Yes, they will be allowed! You may even see some that were NEVER PLAYED! They were created and the player never showed up... get the chance to be the first ever player of that character!

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AS THERE ARE NEW ADDITIONS TO REGISTER. Failure to follow directions by having all necessary information may make you miss the attendance cap.
Register your character by emailing the following to
larp@zenkaikon.com:
- Your name
- Your name as you'd like it to be publicly shown
- Your pronouns
- Your top three character choices with series - all three must be from the playable character list above
- Your 'mess with' scale (how much you're okay with the GMs potentially messing with your character before or during the course of the LARP)
- Do you already have and use Discord?
- If so, what is your Discord username?
- If so, your comfort level with Discord?
We will be having some pre-LARP 'training' sessions to teach how to use the system we use to make throws in Discord, how to use Discord, and how the LARP will work prior to the LARP. Everyone will be requested to attend at least one of these - dates to come.

Our journey from Janina continues to go smoothly. We should reach Stella within a week. My excitement for the chance to attend their fabled Miraculous Concerto, the epitome of their magic in one town-wide effort, grows every day. I do hope that by this time next solar cycle, the strings of my harp might vibrate with not just sound, but magic!
I’ll admit I’m worried about the rumors I’ve heard concerning the two ruling families. There seems to be some amount of enmity between them, for reasons I’ve yet to ascertain. But this is my mission, my choice: I won’t see Stella torn by jealousy and greed the way Janina has been these last 5 years. If I am unable to reach a consensus with all parties--music magic for resources, for trade routes--then I shall unfortunately have to find another planet to negotiate with.
They have two days to show me their wonders and their follies; I pray the former wins.
